The Lego 5609 Train Set is one the best gifts that Pranav's Dadi has got for this fellow who has a fascination for anything that has wheels. Cranes are his craziest craze..and Trains too..NOW
He is already eying Model No 5607 that can be integrated with 5609.. Dadi are u listening. This has a crane that runs on Train Tracks!!
Last Sunday, we went happily to ToyRus, Singapore to get the crane home..but no stocks..had to return using public transport. But I guess the customer service noticed our enthusiasm & subsequent sadness. He was kind enough to call and inform us of the Lego Showroom in Singapore from where we could possibly buy.
The Lego Train is a great weekend timepass..takes a cool 2 hours to set up the whole thing and 30 minutes with my unwanted help. Its creative enough to implement your own ideas..at times there are tussles between Pranav & me to get our respective ideas get some shape!!
This lovely toy came from Germany.. his Dadi had an eagle's eye on this toy..but the only thing stopping her was the size of the box..! So when i happened to be in Germany, I was told to get a big (empty) suitcase to carry the train back home. Since then the train has travelled from Germany to Delhi to Singapore via air..and has become the hallmark of our living room.. be careful pieces are all around.. welcome to New Delhi Railway Station...
